The walks meet within a few minutes of each other in Grossbasel, the Old Town side. The bike tour starts further out at St. Johanns-Tor, and the rail days meet in the station, a short tram ride south of the centre.
This is the busiest corner. The city's own Old Town walk and the private walk with a professional guide start at the Tinguely Fountain, by the theatre. Across the road, the audio-guide bus and the Alsace minibus day leave from the bus parking on Steinenberg in front of the Stadtcasino, and the photogenic-spots walk meets outside the Kunsthalle at Steinenberg 7.
The Tourist Information office is in the same Stadtcasino building, at Steinenberg 14, if you want to ask the way before your tour.
The cheese and chocolate walk meets at the Kunstmuseum on St. Alban-Graben at 9:45am. The small-group walk meets beside the Pisoni Fountain on Münsterplatz, next to the Minster. The Old Town walk at 10am and the chocolate walk wait at the entrance of the red Town Hall on Marktplatz.
The Lucerne and Interlaken, Thun and Colmar days meet at the marked point in front of the big picture, opposite the ticket office. The Jungfrau region and Pilatus days meet by the benches near the escalators, in front of the Migros flower shop.
The Rhine cruise boards at the Schifflände: walk towards the Mittlere Brücke, turn left just before it and go down the steps to the landing. For the bike tour, take tram 11 from Basel SBB, Barfüsserplatz or Marktplatz to St. Johanns-Tor, and look for the guide in a white T-shirt opposite the stop at the park entrance.
The Alps and caves van, the four-countries van and the French villages and Black Forest day collect you from your hotel in Basel.
